If April is the cruelest month, October is the kindest month!

T.S. Eliot penned "April is the cruelest month, breeding" from The Waste Land. Yep, relationships are lots of work and emotions and feelings are very powerful. I'll leave that at that.

But October can be the kindest month, I love summer but I also love the cooling effect of autumn.
Cue California Dreamin' by the Mamas & the Papas....   "All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey...."

AND Halloween parties and school is usually in full force. Yes, I like (not necessarily love) school. I take to the wisdom that school is not so bad, compared to adulthood of full time work of paying the bills and taxes. Oh and with adulthood one plans for retirement and actually thinks about the visit from Death.

Which makes me think of death, devils, angels, spooky stuff and Halloween again! I do love dress up for weddings and dances, looking for the right outfit, accessories and seeing all the work the couple and their family does for the happy event. http://www.flickr.com/photos/75193773@N05/8043747408/in/photostream I'd crash weddings throughout SL, given the chance.

Halloween gives me one more chance to be creative and imaginary. Plus i think there are the most Hunts in SL in October with Halloween themes, zombies, monsters, and on and on. Its fun because most vendors decorate, add some mazes and puzzles. :D  Always a great thing to do with friends, family or even alone.

Maybe I'll review a few in this blog?   'Insert Hailey shrugging, right here. Thinking maybe she could get rl school credit????'  LOL'

oh-K! I haven't posted in awhile.

SO I'm adding frivolous drivel to keep anyone who reads this at ease.

OK it's only been a month. SO its not so bad and its summer what does one expect? I have barbeques to attend, pool parties, slumber parties, shopping parties, summer football/soccer and then to watch some Olympics. Which my previous post of England and the rain just sews up everything and I can go back to my real life of socials, soirees and such.

And without classes this summer ... I was able to work a few more hours a week!!! Whopeee.... I'm so overwhelmed with excitement and joy....

 Back to the pool, just popped in for a lemonade...

i bleed red!

yes, I bleed red when cut, not blue nor copper based green stuff. I noticed that partially through my Flickr account I've been lead to more rl blogs. but the blogs are some of my own thoughts expressed by others. Well, I'm not sure how deep, but I get them and knowing that there are real folks behind every sl avi. Its what makes some avis sooo awesome. Its like the power of Pinkie Pie (My Little Pony) and I am 8. Magic makes sl work sometimes and rl has lots of magic through friendships. So those who see me only as a sl cartoon character should realize there is lots of real me that bleeds.

my previous post mentions polyvore. It really has given me a renewed energy. Mostly, I try on clothes in rl and it seems like nothing fits quite right or how I think it should fit or I'm not conveying the style or completely missing the mark. Not as I see online or in a mag. ufffff... but with polyvore, I can pick clothes, places, accessories, colors backgrounds and anything I think of and it seems to work out and I don't have to buy the $125 shorts. I can create a mood or imagine a complete scene... ok, ok, ok... I have collected lots of items but have not  created a new "collection" or collage... soon, very soon... gotta go!

hey found a new site that let's me mix and match rl clothes, backgrounds, pics and stufff... and lets third party companies track me and tell me what I should buy! :D     I put in one set up... a bit girly but summer, summer summmmmmer... what isn't to like. I am  marmaladehailey there. Some of the members are quite creative, making their sets blog-like.  interesting.....

OH LOOK! I was able to post on this blog! :D

Thinking like Pooh?

I've been thinking about this blog, flickr, plurk and sl... Should I show clothes and fashion? I haven't thought much about me being a mannequin or searching and matching clothes.... then my skin and shape may not be quite right. If I change my clothes, skin, shape, hair, am I still me? ALL that time and ALL that effort. I'd rather read about it on someone else's blog and they are much better at it than I would be. And I get to socialize with other bloggers!

Um.. So, I could write about my experiences in sl. It would be very flat and dull if I don't make it personal, but if I do then I'd have to be careful about what I say about whom? I don't think its a good idea. This is public, so I really don't think so! But I may weave some feelings in this blog. We hate to be vulnerable divulging our emotions, but if we all could show we care and try to keep and grow our friendships, the world would be such a better place. It may sound naive but I'm still young. But to know me and how I feel, is a need to experience me! Just say hello. Some say I am a bit sarcastic and have dry humoUr, maybe moody (but in a good way- Please note my profile pic! ) or a bit odd?       "Oh bother...."

Who knows, I maybe writing this and nobody will ever read it or I may loose interest or forget or never write again to the sorrow of my millions of followers? Now that's funny... millions... maybe hundreds... LOL
